A traveler in a virtual world can arrive somewhere you have never physically been. That separation is central to ROND: real movement powers the journey, while the journey itself takes place in a different world.

Two places, two meanings

Your physical location describes where you are in real life. Your virtual location describes where your traveler has reached along a ROND journey. One should never be mistaken for the other.

A virtual arrival is a movement milestone. It is not a travel record, a check in or evidence that you visited a real destination.

Movement without a live location trail

The core ROND concept uses supported movement data from Apple Health to advance progress. It does not require continuous background GPS for the normal journey.

Health permission choices belong to you. Exact availability depends on your device, the data recorded in Apple Health and the supported activities in the app.

Read a replay in context

The website offers sample routes to explore the replay experience. Signing in opens your Strava activities and recorded routes. Those totals do not contain a GPS track and are not turned into an invented route.

Choose a Strava activity with GPS and recorded times, or import a timed GPX file privately in your browser. Sample virtual routes, synced movement totals and imported GPS recordings are separate sources with distinct labels.
